Get our children back in school

In the Los Angeles Unified School District (“LAUSD”) one 1 of 5 students will not graduate. In fact, 2 out of 5 students either drop out, or are chronically truant. These children are at a high risk for becoming either victims or perpetrators of violent crime. The common denominator among violent criminals is the absence of education. Public safety and the economy are strengthened when our young people become educated and employable adults. The future of our children is at the heart of Bobby Grace’s 2012 race for Los Angeles District Attorney.

  • Bobby Grace will make it a priority to get our children back in school and work with schools and local law enforcement to remind both parents and children that truancy is against the law.
  • Bobby Grace will work to provide resources to families facing challenges that prevent their children from attending school.
